Seattle Death Cafe
What to Expect
Death is something we all share, yet we rarely get the chance to talk about it openly. The Seattle Death Cafe is a cozy, welcoming space where we gather, with tea and treats, to speak freely about death, dying, and what it means to be human.
There’s no agenda or intention to lead participants to any conclusion, just an open-hearted conversation with strangers-turned-companions. Whether you’re curious, grieving, afraid, or simply want to reflect on life’s impermanence, you’re welcome here.
Sunday, February 15th, 4:30-6pm.
Free of Cost
All Are Welcome
This is not a grief support group or therapy session, but a welcoming space to increase awareness of death and help make the most of our (finite) lives.
Hosted by Johanna Christianson, artist and grief-tender, in The Shelterwood Collective Apothocary.
Facilitated by Virg Augoustatos, grief-tender who believes in the power of connection, story, and shared humanity for collective wellbeing.
